Accommodation

We would recommend that participants to stay on-site at St. Eugene Mission Resort. The resort is nestled beside the St. Mary’s River just 5 minutes from the Canadian Rockies International Airport.

We’ve selected this location for its retreat-style setting, beautiful natural environment, ownership by the Ktunaxa Nation and commitment to environmental sustainability. The goal of the resort is to “create a destination of choice in harmony with Mother Earth and our Indigenous culture while providing for our families and enriching our community”.

Campground & RV Park

A new campground and RV Park at the resort offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and sites with free Wifi, fire pits, washrooms, laundry facilities and outdoor games. $28.75/tent/night. Tipi

As part of the Ktunaxa Speaking Earth Haqaⱡpaⱡninam (Hackalth-palth-knee-nam) educational program, there are now tipis available for visitors to stay in and more closely connect with the local culture.  $95/person/night. May be shared with up to 10 others. Cots and bedding provided. Propane heaters provided, but you may want to bring a thermal sleeping bag. Washrooms and showers available at RV site. Please contact snilsson@steugene.ca for more information and reservations. Last day to register is October 12.

Elizabeth Lake Lodge

We also have a group booking at Elizabeth Lake Lodge in Cranbrook 15 minute away from the conference venue. Rooms range in price from $97-$117. When booking, mention the EECOM Conference to access preferred rates. If booking online, select their AAA rate. Find out more and book.

Sign up if you have a room you’d like to share, if you’d like to share a room, if you live in the local area and have a room you can share, or if you are coming from further afield and would like to stay with a local participant.
